I developed a SAPUI5 mobile app in eclipse and exported it to a BSP application and hosted it on my Netweaver Gateway.
I developed the same application in my SAP ECC system in SE80(BSP application).
I am able to access all the Mobile Class libraries
I found developing a SAPUI5 mobile app in ECC simpler because i don’t require a Netweaver Gateway.
When I can develop and host a SAPUI5 mobile app in ECC without any extra operational cost, I feel Netweaver Gateway is not required.
However, I would like to know the right procedure in these two with reasons.
I would also like to know the reason for SAP to bring Netweaver Gateway into this Landscape.
Or is it that using Netweaver Gateway is not mandatory?
